Don't exaggerate, but maybe, if he were still alive…we are talking about cinema, about the best type of cinema, which make you discuss after the viewing, while you are taking a beer, a coffee, with your friends. That’s happened to the students Malin, Roberta and Pepi after watching Viaggio segreto by Roberto Andò. They went to 26^th edition of Valdarno Cinema Fedic, a festival that takes place every year, at the end of April, in San Giovanni Valdarno, leading in our small town actors, directors and insiders, more or less famous, but always quality artists. After the full house of the opening with Non pensarci by the director Gianni Zanasi, Prize Fedic winner at the cinema Festival in Venice, the film contest went on  from morning to night time and the Sillabo students mixed themselves with the good turnout during all the week. Fine corsa by Alessandro Celli won the Prize Marzocco 2008, due to the exactness in the way he presents a story of young people, without preaching and moralities. The festival jury, moreover, gave the Career Prize Marzocco to the director Carlo Lizzani. We advice whom is looking for Tuscany presence in picture shows Lizzani’s unforgettable Cronache di poveri amanti (1953), also inspired by Italian history his last Hotel Meina (2007). We congratulate this year after year more important event (www.cinemafedic.it), the artists and our students that use every occasion to put to the test their Italian! MastroiANNI a San GiovANNI?

Non esageriamo, ma chissà, forse se fosse ancora vivo…stiamo parlando di cinema e del cinema migliore, quello di cui discutere dopo la visione davanti a una birra, un caffè, insieme agli amici. Così è successo alle studentesse Malin, Roberta e Pepi dopo aver visto Viaggio segreto di Roberto Andò. Erano state alla 26ª edizione del Valdarno Cinema Fedic, un festival che si svolge ogni anno, alla fine di aprile, a San Giovanni Valdarno, portando nella nostra piccola cittadina attori, registi e addetti ai lavori, più o meno grandi, ma sempre di qualità. Dopo il tutto esaurito della  serata inaugurale con Non pensarci del regista Gianni Zanasi, vincitore del Premio Fedic al Festival del cinema di Venezia, i film in concorso si sono alternati dalla mattina alla sera e gli studenti del Sillabo si sono mescolati al vasto pubblico durante tutta la settimana del festival. Ha vinto il Premio Marzocco 2008 il film Fine corsa di Alessandro Celli, per il rigore con cui racconta una storia di giovani senza prediche e moralismi. La giuria del festival ha consegnato inoltre il Premio Marzocco alla carriera al regista Carlo Lizzani. Per chi cerca la Toscana nel cinema raccomandiamo il suo indimenticabile Cronache di poveri amanti (1953), ispirato alla storia italiana anche il suo ultimissimo Hotel Meina (2007). Facciamo i complimenti a questa sempre più importante manifestazione (www.cinemafedic.it), agli artisti e ai nostri studenti che non perdono mai l’occasione per mettersi alla prova con l’italiano!
