DECORATION ON CERAMIC

The teacher is Alberta, a lady involved in Art and Craft business. The students learn how to decorate terracotta. It is the oldest and simplest way to decorate objects in clay: no need of oven, adaptable to all skills (from beginners to advanced.). This matter is coming from Tuscan country and usually objects represent flowers, fruits and bacchantes: typical Florentine objects which become nice souvenirs that the students can bring at home, decorated by themselves with bright colours.

On request, you will have the opportunity to visit Montelupo Fiorentino, a small town with its artisans traditionally working with terracotta (for the same price instead of painting for 8 hrs you will paint for 4 hours and visit Montelupo).
